The EXT3-H-POE-R is an HDBaseT 3.0 HDMI receiver that converts long-reach HDBaseT signals to HDMI and control ports. It supports uncompressed 4K60 4:4:4 video and professional audio formats. The unit is designed to receive video, RS-232 and IR over a single twisted-pair copper link.
Key features include HDBaseT 3.0 compatibility, PoE capability, bidirectional RS-232 and IR extension, and support for HDR and HDCP 2.3. The receiver extends HDMI video up to industry-standard distances using recommended Kramer cabling. It supports deep color, x.v.Color, lip sync, Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD audio formats.
Performance specifications include a maximum data rate up to 18 Gbps and support for HDR10 and HDCP 2.3. Extension performance varies by compression mode – standard and high compression distances are specified for different resolutions. The unit passes EDID and CEC signals and supports up to 32 channels of uncompressed digital audio.
Connectivity includes one HDMI output, one HDBaseT 3.0 input, one RS-232 3-pin terminal block port and one 3.5mm IR jack. Power is 48V DC and the receiver can be powered by the transmitter or locally via its adapter. Status LEDs and DIP-switch controls provide local monitoring and basic configuration.
The EXT3-H-POE-R is suited to conference rooms, boardrooms, lecture halls, control rooms and houses of worship. It functions as a receive-end unit for matrix and switcher systems with HDBaseT 3.0 ports. Its long-reach capability supports distribution of studio-grade surround audio and high-resolution video across copper infrastructure.
The enclosure is a compact DigiTOOLS fan-less aluminum design for dropped-ceiling or rack-side-by-side mounting. Convection cooling and a rugged chassis support continuous operation in AV environments. Local firmware upgrade via RS-232 and clear LED indicators simplify maintenance and deployment.
