The EX-70-G2 is a compact HDBaseT HDMI extender set that transmits UHD video, audio and control over a single category cable. It is designed to bridge distance between sources and displays while preserving signal integrity. The pair includes transmitter and receiver units engineered for shallow installations behind displays.
Key features include HDBaseT Class B transmission, support for 4K60 4:2:0 and full 1080p operation, and 2-way Power over HDBaseT for flexible power sourcing. The extender passes bidirectional control signals including IR, RS-232 and CEC, and handles multichannel audio up to DTS:X and Dolby Atmos. Automatic EDID management simplifies handshake and compatibility between source and display.
Performance supports 4096x2160p at 60Hz 4:2:0 8bit up to 35m/115ft and 1080p up to 70m/230ft over standard category cable. Audio support includes 2ch PCM and multichannel formats suitable for immersive audio. Visual LEDs report power, link status, HDCP presence and display connection to aid diagnostics.
Connectivity covers HDMI on the local side and an HDBaseT RJ45 link for remote transmission, plus IR and RS-232 ports for control integration. CEC signals are passed through to enable basic consumer device control where compatible. Cable termination follows IEEE-568B standards and the package includes an energy efficient universal power supply.
