The EX-40-G3 is a compact point-to-point HDMI extender pair designed to transmit full 1080p video over a single Cat6 cable up to 40m/131ft. It supports HDMI 1.3b video and HDCP 1.4 ensuring compatibility with common professional and consumer HDMI sources. The low-profile chassis simplifies placement in shallow racks and tight spaces.
Key features include one-way Power over Cable (PoC) that allows both transmitter and receiver to be powered from a single supply connected to the transmitter, IR pass-through for remote source control, and a simple slider for signal equalization. The unit carries 2-channel PCM audio and uses TMDS encoding over UTP for reliable transmission. The slim 21mm housing provides discreet installation in AV installations.
