The EX-35-H2 is a 35m HDBaseT HDMI extender pair designed to transmit 4K60 HDR content over a single Cat6 cable. It provides visually lossless dynamic compression to carry HDR10 and HLG at high frame rates without perceptible latency. This product set is engineered to maintain modern HDMI 2.0 feature sets while simplifying distribution over standard structured cabling.
Key features include WyreStorm VLC visually lossless compression, HDMI 2.0 support, HDCP 2.2 compliance and signal re-clocking on every unit. The system supports up to 18Gbps encoding data rate and HDBaseT Class A signaling to preserve color and timing for demanding displays. Two-way Power over HDBaseT increases installation flexibility by allowing either the transmitter or receiver to power the pair.
Performance capabilities cover 3840x2160p at 60Hz 10bit 4:2:0 HDR and 4096x2160p at 60Hz 8bit 4:4:4 along with legacy 1080p60 at full 16bit. The extender achieves end-to-end latency as low as 10 microseconds and supports multi-channel LPCM audio plus 2ch analog or PCM. Maximum HDMI pixel clock is 600MHz and HDBaseT pixel clock is 297MHz to match a wide range of source and display devices.
Connectivity includes an HDMI input on the transmitter and an HDMI output on the receiver with HDBaseT RJ45 ports on both units. Control and integration options are comprehensive with bidirectional IR, RS-232 over HDBaseT, EDID management and CEC pass-through. The units support DVI-D via adapter and maintain HDCP 2.2 encryption across the link for protected content distribution.
Typical use cases include digital signage zones, boardrooms and AV distribution where long cable runs are required without fiber. The product is suited to delivering HDR streaming, satellite or media player content to remote displays where color fidelity and HDR metadata must be preserved. Installers will appreciate compatibility improvements for modern 4K sources and the support for modern color spaces like BT.2020 and BT.2100.
Installation is simplified by a low profile 15mm chassis that fits behind displays and threaded bushings that accept standard or locking DC plugs. Visual LEDs report power, link and HDCP status while automatic equalization and gain adjust the link for different cable runs. The kit ships with a universal 18V DC power supply and supports 2-way PoH for flexible powering options on site.
