The WyreStorm EX-35-H2-ARC is an HDBaseT Class B HDMI extender pair designed to transmit high-bandwidth video and return audio signals over a single Cat cable. It supports visually lossless compression to deliver 4K/60 4:4:4 and HDR content across extended distances while preserving color and frame rate. The product pairs a slim transmitter and receiver intended for discreet installation behind displays or inside AV enclosures.
Key features include support for True ARC, optical audio return, analog audio breakout and two-way PoH for remote powering. The embedded VLC chipset enables 4K/60 4:4:4 and HDR formats including HDR10, HLG and Dolby Vision up to 30Hz. The extender also supports HDCP 2.2 and automatic variable compression to manage full bandwidth HDMI content up to 17.8Gbps.
Performance specifications include a 9.2Gbps encoding data rate and microsecond latency to preserve audio/video synchronization. The HDBaseT Class B link extends 4K UHD 4:4:4 to 35m/115ft over Cat6 and up to 70m/230ft over Cat6a/7 depending on resolution and color depth. The system supports 2ch PCM and multichannel audio including LPCM up to DTS-X and Dolby Atmos.
Connectivity is comprehensive – the transmitter accepts HDMI input and provides HDBaseT output plus a 3-pin phoenix analog audio breakout and Toslink output. The receiver provides HDMI output plus Toslink input and supports bidirectional IR and RS-232 control across the HDBaseT link. True ARC is supported from the display back to the transmitter over the HDBaseT connection for flexible audio routing.
Typical use cases include AV installations where the display is wall-mounted and sources are rack-mounted, meeting rooms requiring high frame-rate HDR support, and residential systems that need TV smart-app audio returned to an AVR. The analog audio breakout and Toslink options provide choices for integrating legacy receivers or DSPs. The slim 21mm chassis is suitable for mounting behind displays or in shallow enclosures.
Installation is simplified with auto-equalization and reclocking to maximize compatibility with modern 4K sources and displays. Visual LED indicators display power, HDCP presence, signal status and HDBaseT link state for troubleshooting. The EX-35-H2-ARC is built to enterprise AV expectations with CE/FCC/RoHS compliance and support for firmware updates via the RS-232 path when used with compatible HDBaseT devices.

Most items ordered from AVProSupply will be shipped out from our California Warehouse. Will-Calls are only allowed with Appointment Only - Please call Customer Service to set one up between the hours of 9am to 6pm PST.
