The EX-35-8K is an HDBaseT HDMI 2.1 extender designed to carry high-bandwidth video and control signals over a single Cat cable. It extends HDMI signals to support up to 8K resolutions while preserving HDMI 2.1 features and HDCP 2.3 compliance. The unit provides both transmitter and receiver functionality in a compact pair that simplifies system design and installation.
Key capabilities include support for 8K@30Hz and 8K@60Hz 4:2:0 along with 4K@120Hz 4:4:4 at HDBaseT distances. The EX-35-8K delivers a 40Gbps HDMI data rate and balanced audio de-embedding at the receiver for integration with external audio systems. Bi-directional PoH (Power over HDBaseT) and integrated RS-232 and IR pass-through enable simplified cabling and centralized control.

Transmission distances vary by cable grade: typical HDBaseT reach is up to 35m over Cat5e/6 and up to 40m over Cat6a/7 for 4K/8K signals.
