The CS84U is a 4-port PS/2-USB VGA KVM switch that provides single-console control of four computers. It supports both PS/2 and USB keyboards and mice while maintaining complete keyboard and mouse emulation. The unit integrates ATEN Video DynaSync – which prevents boot-up display issues and preserves optimal display settings when switching.
Key features include dual-interface support for PS/2 and USB, front-panel pushbuttons, hotkey and mouse switching, and Auto Scan mode for continuous monitoring. The switch offers full keyboard emulation and mouse emulation/bypass to support a wide range of drivers and multifunction mice. Firmware is upgradable to maintain compatibility and extend functionality.
Video performance supports up to 2048 x 1536 at 60 Hz and DDC2B for accurate EDID handling. The CS84U requires no software installation and intercepts keyboard input directly to work across multiple platforms. Power consumption is DC 5V, 1.2W and the unit accepts a DC jack power input.
Connectivity includes a single VGA HDB-15 console port, two USB Type A console ports, PS/2 keyboard and mouse ports, and four SPHD-18 KVM ports for attached computers. The switch provides multilingual keyboard mapping and Mac/Sun keyboard support and emulation where applicable. Platform support includes Windows, Linux, Mac, and Sun environments.
Typical applications include small server rooms, shared workstation environments, broadcast control desks, and test labs where a single console must access multiple VGA-equipped systems. The product is suited to situations demanding reliable keyboard/mouse emulation and consistent video output when switching between hosts. Air shipments, Overnight, 2nd day and 3 day select methods offer guaranteed delivery time for your shipment. If you are in hurry or in need for the items on schedule, select one of these methods.
