The CS1914 is a 4-port DisplayPort KVMP switch designed to centralize keyboard mouse monitor control across multiple computers. It enables a single USB console and two USB peripherals to access four DisplayPort-equipped systems. The unit targets workflows that require high-resolution video and fast file transfers.
Key features include DisplayPort video switching up to 3840 x 2160 at 30 Hz and a SuperSpeed USB 3.1 Gen1 hub supporting 5 Gbps transfers. The switch supports independent switching of KVM, USB, and audio focus so keyboard mouse control and USB peripherals can operate on different computers. Front panel pushbuttons hotkeys and mouse switching provide flexible selection methods.
Performance supports 4K@30 Hz video over DisplayPort 1.1 and HD audio passthrough where available. The integrated USB hub provides two USB 3.1 Gen1 Type A ports for high-speed peripheral connectivity. Power on detection automatically selects the next powered computer and the device supports hot-plugging for minimal workflow interruption.
Connectivity includes four DisplayPort inputs four USB3.1 Gen1 Type B KVM ports two front and rear console USB Type A ports one DisplayPort console port and two 3.5 mm audio jacks. The CS1914 is HDCP compliant and supports DisplayPort Dual-Mode (DP++) for use with passive DP-to-HDMI or DP-to-DVI adapters when the source supports DP++. Keyboard and mouse emulation and bypass modes improve compatibility with gaming and multifunction devices.
Typical use cases include video post production CAD design and mixed OS environments where precise video clarity and fast file transfers are required.
