The ATEN PSD PP v4.0 Secure KVM Switch CS1144H4C is a 4-port USB HDMI dual-display KVM that provides secure peripheral sharing while enforcing strict data isolation. It is certified to PSD PP v4.0 by NIAP to prevent unauthorized data flow between connected systems. The switch supports a single keyboard, mouse, monitor set, speaker output and a CAC reader while maintaining security controls.
Key security features include always-on chassis intrusion detection that renders the unit inoperable on tamper, tamper-evident labels, and non-reprogrammable firmware to prevent modification. Device filtration lets administrators restrict specific USB authentication devices and USB HID devices to reduce attack surface. Port switching is limited to front-panel pushbuttons or a Remote Port Selector to eliminate remote switching attack vectors.
The CS1144H4C supports dual-display HDMI output at up to 3840 x 2160 @ 60 Hz to preserve console image fidelity across classified systems. Keyboard and mouse data are purged automatically after transmission and upon port switching to ensure user data protection. Audio handling is strictly filtered and limited to analog speaker output to reduce covert channel risk.
Connectivity includes two console HDMI ports, two console USB Type-A ports, a front-panel analog mini stereo jack, four CAC-enabled ports, and eight HDMI and USB Type-B connections for up to four computers with dual-display support. A rear RJ-11 port supports an optional Remote Port Selector sold separately. Power is via a single 3-prong AC socket, supporting 100-240V AC input.
