The CS1142DP4C is a secure 2-port USB DisplayPort KVM switch designed to share a single keyboard, mouse, dual DisplayPort monitor set, speaker output and Common Access Card reader across two computers while enforcing strict security controls. It is certified to PSD PP v4.0 and built to prevent unauthorized data flow between connected systems. The unit is produced in Taiwan and meets NIAP Common Criteria requirements for peripheral sharing devices.
Key features include PSD PP v4.0 compliance, always-on chassis intrusion detection that renders the switch inoperable if tampering is detected, tamper-evident labels, and non-reprogrammable firmware for a hardened security posture. The switch supports configurable device filtering to permit or block specific USB authentication devices and USB HID devices. Port selection is limited to front-panel pushbuttons or a Remote Port Selector to reduce attack surface.
Video capability supports resolutions up to 3840 x 2160 at 30 Hz on DisplayPort console outputs and employs Video DynaSync for optimal resolution handling during source switches. Audio support is limited to analog speaker output only and is strictly filtered to prevent leakage. Emulation for keyboard and mouse is USB based and keyboard/mouse data is automatically purged after transmission and when port focus changes.
Connectivity includes dual DisplayPort console outputs, USB Type-A console ports, a front-panel USB CAC port, multiple USB Type-B and DisplayPort KVM ports for two-computer connections, a rear RJ-11 remote port selector jack, and a single 3-prong AC power socket. The device supports universal AC input 100-240V~ 50-60 Hz and typical power consumption values are provided for AC110V and AC220V configurations. Status LEDs display power, port selection, CAC status and video/path indicators.
