The C-CU32/UC+H is an active multi-format adapter that converts male HDMI + USB3 or male USB-C sources to a single USB-C output. It provides reliable video delivery and signal conditioning to USB-C acceptors such as displays or switchers. The adapter is designed to simplify single-cable connections in AV environments while preserving signal quality.
The adapter supports up to 4K@30Hz at 4:4:4 color sampling and includes active retiming to maintain image integrity over the built-in cable. When using an HDMI source, the included USB 3.2 A-type pigtail must be connected to enable full USB-C 3.2 features. The cable assembly measures 2.7 meters to provide longer reach to displays or under-desk switchers.
Performance is driven by an active signal retimer that minimizes timing skew and preserves pixel accuracy at the specified maximum resolution. The device supports up to 60W power delivery when the input is USB-C, enabling powered USB-C hosts or monitors where applicable. Environmental specifications include an operating range of 0 to 40 degrees Celsius and storage to -40 to +70 degrees Celsius.
Connectivity is provided via a male HDMI connector with a 40cm USB 3.2 A-type pigtail for HDMI scenarios, and a male USB-C connector for direct USB-C input. The adapter is compatible with USB-C monitors and USB-C switchers; when used with HDMI sources, the USB 3.2 connection is required for full USB-C feature support. Standard compliance includes FCC and CE for safety and RoHS and WEEE for environmental requirements.
The C-CU32/UC+H is suited to BYOD meeting rooms and auditoriums where a simple single-cable interface is required between a laptop and a USB-C display or switcher. It can be used between a laptop and an under-desk USB-C switcher to preserve EDID settings and deliver 4K@30 4:4:4 when the system is configured accordingly.
