The 1T-CT-654A is an HDBaseT receiver designed to extend HDMI 1.4 video and control signals over a single Cat.5e or Cat.6 cable. This unit receives uncompressed HDMI signals transmitted over HDBaseT and outputs HDMI to a local display. It supports advanced features such as 3D, UHD 4k formats and multi-channel lossless audio.
The receiver supports full HDMI 1.4 feature set including 3D and 4k@30Hz, and full HD at 1080p@60Hz with 36 bit color depth. Audio formats supported include LPCM 7.1, Dolby TrueHD, Dolby Digital Plus and DTS-HD Master Audio. Control channels are available for RS-232, bi-directional infrared and Ethernet for integrated system management.
Performance is based on HDBaseT 5Play technology providing a maximum bandwidth of 10.2Gbps and a signal range up to 100m (325 ft) over single Cat.5e or Cat.6 cable. The system preserves uncompressed HDMI video and embedded lossless digital audio for distribution without visible degradation. HDCP 1.1 and DVI 1.0 compatibility are supported where required.
Connectivity includes one HDMI connector for local output, one RJ45 HdBaseT port, one LAN RJ45, one DB9 RS-232 port and dual 3.5mm jacks for IR. The receiver supports Power over HDBaseT (PoH) so it can be powered remotely by a compatible PoH transmitter if local power is unavailable. The unit is also compatible with CORIOmax HDBaseT output modules for larger AV systems.
Common applications include digital signage displays, conference room AV endpoints, and long‑run signal extension in staging and broadcast facilities. It is suitable for scenarios requiring remote displays with centralized sources and control such as meeting rooms, classrooms and control rooms. The unit supports CEC bypass and HDCP repeater functionality to ease integration with source devices.
Installation is straightforward – connect the Tx and Rx units with a single quality Cat.5e or Cat.6 cable, attach the local HDMI display and control connections, and apply power or enable PoH from the transmitter. The compact receiver provides reliable signal recovery and consistent performance in professional AV installations. Firmware and system compatibility follow HDMI v1.4 and HDBaseT standards to ensure predictable integration.
