The CS1308 8-Port USB PS/2 KVM Switch with 8 USB Cables from ATEN allows you to control 8 computers from a single keyboard, mouse, and monitor, or, utilizing the 2-level cascade setup, up to 64 computers from the single console. The switch supports both USB and PS/2 connections for the console and computers as well as USB keyboards and mice. The switch features Video DynaSync™ technology, ATEN's extended display identification data program, which remembers each monitor's parameters eliminating boot-up display problems and optimizing display resolution when switching between ports. Computers can be selected via the front panel push-buttons, hotkeys, or on-screen display and added or removed from the console without powering down the switch. The two level password security option ensures only authorized users view and control the computers. The CS1308 is firmware upgradeable and does not require software installation.
