VGA Breakout Cables
VGA Breakout Cables
VGA Breakout Cables are unique in their own right and have proven necessary in certain applications. As an example, let’s say that you need a component video signal to work on a PC monitor or a projector. For this example scenario, a component to VGA cable is required as long as the devices that are being used support this type of connection. VGA breakout cables are typically available with combinations of the following connectors. HD15 (VGA) to 3 rows of 5 pins, RCA option and BNC option which are usually color coded. In a few cases, VGA breakout cables consists of 3 or 5 heavily shielded coaxial cables bundled in a dense fitting jacket. VGA breakout cables are tested to pass a 1080 signal, however some source devices may not have enough voltage and current and a booster may be needed.
