Connectivity

Power over Ethernet provides simple setup and operation. Once the controller is plugged into a PoE-capable switch, it will be ready to connect to and control any compatible IP camera. This means that setup time is reduced significantly with the BG-CJ-IPRSG, allowing users to spend less time plugging in cables and more time enjoying precision camera control.

Control

PTZ controls available on the BG-CJ-IPRSG2 include a speed adjustment knob, automatic white balance, red and blue gain, iris control, and manual focus. Any compatible camera can be controlled with ease via the joystick. The controller features both serial and IP control modes Supported protocols include IP VISCA, ONVIF, VISCA, and PELCO P/D.

The controller has four quick select camera buttons, enabling the controller to switch to any camera quickly and efficiently. Presets can be recalled using push buttons, and an integrated LCD screen can be used to adjust parameters in the setup menu. One push button is available to toggle auto focus, auto exposure, and auto white balance. One knob is available for manual focus, iris, and red/blue gain to give operators the ability to fine tune image settings on the fly.

Other Features

The BG-CJ-IPRSG2 buttons, when activated, are backlit green to make them easier to see. A WebGUI is also available, enabling operators to configure the joystick with ease from any network-connected device.
